Mine is twice as nice as that and i only payed 65,892 for it ,,,and none of then include electric or sewer or foundation

My Credit Union, (very large group) will not finance a Barndominium home.......

A lot of these designs have some bad decisions in them but overall look nice.

I live in CT where country carpenters are located. That cost is literally just the framing kit for that price. It doesn’t include anything else.

I bet it’s 2x4 construction. Here you have to use 2x6 to pass inspection from the county . I built a 1200sq house 2 bedroom 1 bath completely finished for just over 20k buying everything from Lowe’s and Home Depot. That was 20 years ago but even now you could build a home something that small with better materials.

It’s not false advertising, everyone knows they come shelled and we pay for the foundation, the design inside, electrical and plumbing is all on us. It’s called an investment. An idea. Hell ya if I could buy land for about $5k, $20k for foundation and septic and plumbing. The barndow $30 to $50k and then about another $20 to $30k on the inside. I’m paying for a brand new home and on my own land. For as little as $110k. What am I missing?
